Waterloo Regional Police Virtually Launch Police Week 2020

Media Release

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service is pleased to take part in Police Week, as we join police services across Ontario to celebrate our members and community partners.

The theme for this year’s Police Week is Leading the Way to Safer Communities, a fitting tribute to all of our members who ensure community safety and essential services during these unusual and challenging times.

“One of the highlights of Police Week for our Service has always been our annual Open House,” said Bryan Larkin, Chief of Police. “While we are unable to physically open our doors this year to celebrate with you, we will be opening our virtual doors and giving you an inside look at some of the great work our members do each and every day.”

Join us virtually by visiting our social media sites – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube – as we highlight different areas of our Service and show how our members go above and beyond each and every day.
