Waterloo Regional Police Locate and Return Missing Child Home in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police helped a missing 3-year-old child and returned them home.

On June 21, 2024, at approximately 7:50 a.m., police responded to a report of a child wandering in the area of Water Street and Victoria Street North in Kitchener.

Police required public assistance identifying the child and released a social media post to notify.

With public assistance, police were able to identify and locate the residence of the child.

The child was returned home and left in the care of responsible parties. Waterloo Regional Police partnered with community agencies to assist in this investigation.
