WRPS Investigating Serious Collision Involving Farm Implement in Woolwich Township

Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious collision in Wilmot Township. 

On June 18, 2024, at approximately 3 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a Dodge Caravan and a farm implement on Erbs Road between Notre Dame Drive and Sandhills Road. 

The driver of the Caravan, a 53-year-old male from Perth County, was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by members of the Wilmot Township Fire Department. He was transported to a local hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the farm implement did not sustain any physical injuries.

Erbs Road was closed for several hours for the police investigation and has since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.
