WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating Collision in Wellesley Township

Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is continuing to investigate a serious collision in the Township of Wellesley.

On June 30, 2024, at approximately 3 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a Honda van and a Chevrolet pickup at the intersection of Nafziger Road and Gerber Road.

Four occupants of the Honda van (two adults and two children) were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening physical injuries.

The occupants of the Chevrolet pickup reported no physical injuries.

Area roadways were closed for approximately for several hours for the police investigation and the roads have since been reopened.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are anticipated.
