Emergency services respond to a residential fire in Cambridge.

On September 4, 2024, at approximately 3:30 p.m., emergency services responded to the area of Preston Parkway and Parkview Crescent for multiple reports of a residential fire.

The fire was believed to be caused by a gas leak, and for safety concerns, neighboring residences were evacuated.

There are no reports of any physical injuries.

Cambridge Fire Department is continuing the investigation.

Roadways in the area remain closed.
