Police Arrest Wanted Female and Seize Drugs in Kitchener's Victoria Park

Waterloo Regional Police Service have arrested a wanted female and seized drugs in Kitchener.

On May 30, 2025, at approximately 1:20 p.m., members of WRPS’ Direct Action Response Team (DART) were on bicycle patrol in Victoria Park when they observed a female wanted for several offences, including Assault with a Weapon, Assault Cause Bodily Harm, and Forcible Confinement, in connection to a March 20, 2025 incident in Kitchener.

Reasonable and probable grounds to arrest the female also existed from an incident on April 30, 2025, in which she fled from police in a stolen motor vehicle. Charges from this incident included Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent, Flight from Peace Officer, Operation of a Conveyance While Prohibited, Dangerous Operation, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

The officers arrested the female and conducted a search incident to arrest.

Police located and seized drugs, including suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription drugs. The approximate street value of the seized drugs is $12,300.

The female, a 40-year-old from Kitchener, was charged with the additional offences of:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance (four counts)
  • Possession of Break In Instruments

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
