Police Continue to Investigate Cyclist Collision in Kitchener
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have charged a driver following a collision investigation in Kitchener.
On June 3, 2026, at approximately 3:10 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a pickup truck and a cyclist at the roundabout at Homer Watson Boulevard and Block Line Road. The cyclist, an 86-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital with injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the driver of the pickup truck, a 20-year-old Kitchener male, was charged with:
- Careless driving causing bodily harm
- Fail to yield to pedestrian
