Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a robbery at a residence in Kitchener.

On May 26, 2026, at approximately 1:50 p.m., police received a report of a robbery in the area of Arrowhead Crescent.

The investigation determined that two unknown males attended a residence posing as police officers, claiming they were investigating a fraud. The males pressured the victims into handing over a large sum of money, then left the home and fled in an awaiting dark blue Volkswagen Atlas.

The two suspects who attended the residence were described as white males, medium build, wearing a navy-blue t-shirt, beige khaki pants and navy-blue baseball caps.

The investigation is ongoing.

Investigators are requesting that residents in the area of Arrowhead Crescent to check their home security cameras between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., on May 26, 2026, for any suspicious persons or vehicles.
