Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a Pride flag was vandalized in Kitchener.

On June 13, 2024, at approximately 4:15 p.m., police received a report of property damage at a residence in the area of Cedarwoods Crescent and Kingsway Drive. An unknown suspect attended the residence and vandalized a Pride flag.

Police are treating this as a hate-motivated incident.
