Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a collision involving a pedestrian in Kitchener.
On December 21, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, at the intersection of Kingswood Drive and Block Line Road.
Police closed the intersection for several hours to complete the investigation.
The pedestrian, a 53-year-old Kitchener male was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Honda SUV, a 38-year-old Kitchener male reported no injuries, and has been charged with Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
Police would like to thank the several witnesses and citizens whom provided assistance, and contacted emergency services.
