On March 31, 2026, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of King Street East and Cedar Street North in Kitchener.

A male victim was attacked by an unknown person with a blunt object and sustained physical but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspect stole property belonging to the victim and left prior to police arrival.
