Waterloo Regional Police Arrest a Huron County Male After a Kitchener Drug Investigation
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Drugs and Firearms Unit have arrested a male after a drug investigation in Kitchener.
On August 22, 2024, police executed search warrants in Kitchener and a residence in Huron County. Police also searched two motor vehicles.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old male from Huron County was charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of an Unauthorized Firearm, and Breach of Court Order.
Investigators seize suspected cocaine, three prohibited weapons, ammunition, a motorcycle, and a quantity of Canadian currency.
The male was held for a bail hearing.
