Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Kitchener Male After a Multi-vehicle Collision in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police arrested a Kitchener male after a multi-vehicle collision, including a stolen motor vehicle in Kitchener.
On July 9, 2024, at approximately 3 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen delivery vehicle that was involved in a collision in the area of Queens Boulevard and Rex Drive.
The accused struck multiple vehicles, including a Grand River Transit Bus. The accused attempted to steal another vehicle in the area but was unsuccessful.
There were no reports of any physical injuries.
Police located the accused and arrested and charged him with the following:
- Theft of a motor vehicle
- Dangerous driving
- Fail to stop after accident
- Attempt theft of a motor vehicle
The 18-year-old male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
