Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Kitchener Male for Drug Related Charges After Traffic Stop
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police charged a Kitchener male for multiple drug-related offences after a traffic stop.
On June 21, 2024, police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Westcourt Place and Westmount Road North in Waterloo.
Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic. During the investigation, police located suspected cocaine, codeine, and methamphetamine within the vehicle.
Officers arrested the 24-year-old driver and charged him with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a schedule I substance, as well as multiple Highway Traffic Act offences.
The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
