Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male for Hate- Motivated Incident in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male in connection to a hate motivated incident in Kitchener.
On July 19, 2024, at approximately 2:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious male in the area of Walnut Street and Victoria Street South.
Officers arrived and observed freshly spray-painted graffiti on the side of a building. The graffiti included a hate-motivated symbol. The suspicious male was located and arrested.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with Mischief Under $5,000.
