Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Two in Connection to Two Break and Enters in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police Services Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team have arrested a female in connection to a break and enter in Kitchener.
Between July 29, 2024 and August 8, 2024, two break-ins occurred at a commercial business in the area of Ottawa Street and Westmount Road East.
On September 5, 2024, police completed a search warrant at a Kitchener residence and arrested a 38-year-old female and a 42-year-old male for Trafficking of Stolen Property and Possession of Stolen Property.
The female was held for bail, and the male is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
A third male is currently outstanding for the same offences, and police are looking to locate the individual.
WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team is requesting businesses to consider the following tips to help prevent break-ins:
- Keep doors and windows locked
- Keep valuables locked up, out of common areas and out of plain sight
- Install video surveillance cameras in the front and back of businesses
