Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Two Females in Kitchener After a Theft Investigation
Waterloo Regional Police continue to search for a male after a theft in Kitchener.
On October 1, 2024, at approximately 11 a.m., employees of a retail store located in the area of Executive Place and New Dundee Road contacted police regarding a theft in progress involving three individuals.
Officers arrived shortly after and located an involved vehicle and a 51-year-old female inside. Two other involved parties fled the business upon police arrival.
Police later located a 35-year-old Kitchener woman, who was wanted on several outstanding charges, and placed her under arrest.
The third individual, a 29-year-old Kitchener male, was not located.
The two females were arrested and charged for numerous offences including possession of stolen property under $5000, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of identity documents, and other criminal offences.
The two were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
