Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Two Males and Seize Multiple Drugs and Weapons
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Drugs and Firearms Unit have arrested two males after a drug investigation in Kitchener.
On July 10, 2024, police completed search warrants at residences in Kitchener and Minto Township in relation to an ongoing drug investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old Kitchener male was charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, along with various firearms and weapons charges. A second 37-year-old male from Minto Township was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Investigators seized a firearm along with a quantity of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, pills, and a conducted energy weapon.
Both males were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
