Waterloo Regional Police Continue to investigate a Shooting Incident in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police arrest a youth after a shooting investigation from May in Kitchener.

On July 25, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police completed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Century Hill Drive and Country Hill Drive.

As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the shooting and has been charged with multiple firearm offences including discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, pointing a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon. The 17-year-old male faces several more charges as a result of the search warrant.

The 17-year-old male was held for a bail hearing.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a shooting incident that took place in Kitchener.

On May 11, 2024, at approximately 12:50 p.m., police began an investigation into gunshots heard in the area of Century Hill Drive and Country Hill Drive. 

No persons have been injured, but police can confirm property has been damaged. 

Police are looking to speak with a male described as Hispanic, 6 feet tall, 200 lbs, wearing grey sweat pants and a red and blue jacket.
