Waterloo Regional Police Respond to a Hate-Motivated Assault and Arrest Kitchener Female
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Kitchener female after a hate-motivated assault.
On August 9, 2024, at approximately 4 p.m., police responded to the area of Mooregate Crescent and Hazelglen Drive in Kitchener for reports of an assault.
The victim was approached by an unknown female who began yelling racial slurs at the victim. The subject then proceeded to push the victim and subsequently punched them in the chest.
There are no reports of any physical injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 49-year-old Kitchener female was charged with Assault.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
