WRPS Arrest Kitchener Male After a Hate-Motivated Assault
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after a hate-motivated assault in Kitchener.
On June 8, 2024, police responded to a report of a hate-motivated assault in the area of Forest Walk Street and Bleams Road.
The victim and subject engaged in a verbal altercation, which resulted in the victim being assaulted. The parties are known to each other.
The victim received minor physical injuries.
On June 12, 2024, police located and arrested a 33-year-old male and charged him with assault cause bodily harm.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
