WRPS Charges Wanted Cambridge Male in Connection to Stolen Motor Vehicle Investigation
Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Intelligence Services Branch has charged a male with 17 offences in connection to a stolen motor vehicle investigation.
As part of the investigation, officers identified a Cambridge male wanted on multiple outstanding warrants with WRPS and Guelph Police Service.
On September 4, 2024, Intelligence Services Branch and Emergency Response Team (ERT) members completed two search warrants at residences in Cambridge.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old Cambridge male was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Drive disqualified (five counts)
- Dangerous driving (two counts)
- Fail to comply with an undertaking (five counts)
- Fail to comply with a release order (five counts)
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
