WRPS Continues to Investigate Suspicious Male Incident in Kitchener
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police Service would like to thank the community for assisting in locating the vehicle and individual associated to the report of a suspicious male on June 5th, 2024 in the area of King Street West and Linwood Avenue in Kitchener.
Through investigation, police have determined there was no criminal element to the interaction.
Police remind the community to be vigilant of individuals unknown to them and to contact police by calling 911 if they believe their safety is compromised or in the event of an in-progress crime.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a suspicious person in Kitchener.
On June 5, 2024, at approximately 9 p.m., police received a report involving a suspicious male approaching a male youth while waiting for a ride in the area of King Street West and Linwood Avenue.
The unknown male approached the youth and asked them if they wanted to be driven home due to the rain, however, the youth declined the offer and left the area.
The unknown male was seen driving a black sports car with tinted windows.
There were no reports of any physical injuries.
