WRPS' General Investigations Unit Responds to Stabbing in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a stabbing in Waterloo.

On September 6, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., police responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of Erb Street West and King Street North.

A 26-year-old male sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident, and no ongoing public safety concerns exist.

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
