WRPS Respond to Collision Involving an E-Scooter in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a collision involving an e-scooter in Kitchener.
On July 7, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between an e-scooter and a BMW in the area of Netherwood Road near Briar Creek Drive.
The e-scooter operator, a male youth from Kitchener, was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with minor physical injuries.
The driver of the BMW, a 35-year-old Kitchener male, did not sustain any physical injuries.
Netherwood Road was closed for several hours for the police investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
