WRPS Respond to a Collision in Woolwich
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service Traffic Services Unit are investigating a collision in Elmira.
On January 18, 2026, at approximately 8:37 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a Kia and Toyota, motor vehicle at the intersection of Arthur Street South and Whippoorwill Drive.
The driver of the Toyota, a 62-year-old Hamilton female, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Kia, a 49-year-old Elmira male, was not injured.
As a result of the investigation, the intersection of Arthur Street South and Whipoorwill Drive was partially closed for several hours.
