Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hate-motivated assault that occurred at a business in Kitchener.

On July 30, 2024, two female victims were in a parking lot, in the area of Lackner Boulevard and Ottawa Street North, when an unknown male said racial comments towards them and then spit towards one female victim.

There were no reports of any physical injuries.

Waterloo Regional Police Service's is looking to identify the individual in the photo.
