WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating Fatal Collision in Kitchener

Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit are continuing to investigate a fatal collision in Kitchener.

On September 15, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., emergency services responded to the area of Activa Avenue and Bridlewreath Street for a report of a single-vehicle collision.

As a result of the initial investigation, police determined that a 67-year-old Waterloo female was struck by her motor vehicle, which is believed to have rolled over her. The female was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Area roadways were closed for several hours for the investigation.

The cause of the collision is under investigation by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
