Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a Sexual Assault in Waterloo. 

On July 4, 2025, police responded to a report of a sexual assault that took place on July 1, 2025 in the area Waterloo Park. 

At approximately 10:30 p.m., a female victim was walking on a trail when an unknown male approached the victim. The male sexually assaulted the victim and proceeded on the Southwest side of Waterloo Park towards Seagram Drive. 

The victim did not receive any physical injuries. 

The suspect is described as a brown male, approximately 5’5’’, and seen wearing a red shirt. 

The investigation remains ongoing by our Special Victims Unit.
