Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an assault that occurred in the Uptown Waterloo. 

On September 12, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., police responded to reports of a physical disturbance in the area of Dupont Street East and King Street North.

Two groups engaged in a physical altercation when an unknown male sprayed two victims with a noxious substance.

The two victims received minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit are looking for anyone with information regarding the incident or the subjects.
