WRPS South Division Officers Investigating Indecent Act Report in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a youth in connection to two indecent act incidents in Cambridge.
On August 27, 2024, at approximately 8 p.m., police received a report of a male exposing himself at a park in the area of Pratt Place and Melran Drive.
On August 29, 2024, at approximately 3:20 p.m., police received reports of a male committing an indecent act in the same park.
Police responded to the scene and a canine search was conducted in efforts to locate the male.
Police subsequently identified the involved male, and on August 30, 2024, arrested and charged a 17-year-old Cambridge youth with Criminal Harassment, Indecent Act (two counts), and Indecent Exposure (two counts).
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.

The male is described as East Asian, 6’ tall, in his late teens to early 20s, with a thin build and short black hair, wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
