UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to search for a male wanted in connection to a Kitchener sexual assault.

On August 10, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., a female was sexually assaulted by a male in the area of Victoria Street North and Lackner Boulevard.

Investigators have identified the suspect as Sukhmanjot Singh, 21, from Peel Region.

Mr. Singh has connections to the Region of Waterloo and to Peel Region. He is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, please do not approach him but call 9-1-1 immediately.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault in Kitchener.

On August 10, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., a female was sexually assaulted by an unknown male in the area of Victoria Street North and Lackner Boulevard.

Investigators would like to identify and speak with the male pictured below in connection to this incident.

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Major Crime Unit.
