Waterloo Regional have laid assault charges after responding to a physical altercation in Kitchener.

On August 16, 2024, at approximately 12 a.m., two males became involved in a verbal dispute that became physical in the area of Howe Drive and Ottawa Street South.

One of the involved males sustained significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services.

A 24-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

The involved individuals are known to one another.
