WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Respond to a Serious Collision in Kitchener
WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious collision in Kitchener.
On August 14, 2024, at approximately 4:50 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a Mazda motor vehicle and a cyclist at Shirley Drive and Bingemans Centre Drive.
The driver of the Mazda, a 22-year-old female from Kitchener, was not injured. The cyclist, a 16-year-old female, was transported by air ambulance to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The intersection was closed for several hours for the police investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
