Police Continue to Investigate Hate-Motivated Assault at Waterloo Business
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hate-motivated assault in Waterloo.
On August 12, 2024, at approximately 2:15 p.m., two unknown youths entered a business in the area of Erb Street West and Fischer-Hallman Road.
When a female employee asked the youths to leave the business, the youths uttered racial slurs and assaulted the employee.
No physical injuries were sustained in this incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
