WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating Pedestrian-Involved Collision in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit (TSU) is continuing to investigate a serious collision in Waterloo.
On August 13, 2024, at approximately 7:40 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between an Infiniti motor vehicle and a pedestrian at Erbsville Road and Columbia Forest Boulevard.
The pedestrian, a 45-year-old Waterloo female, was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 30-year-old Waterloo female, was not physically injured.
The intersection was closed for several hours for the police investigation and has since been reopened.
The investigation is ongoing by Traffic Services Unit investigators, and charges are anticipated.
