Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an assault that took place in a parking lot in Cambridge.

On July 30, 2024, at approximately 1:10 a.m., police responded to a report of an assault in the area of Clemens Avenue and Sheffield Street.

The victim, a 37-year-old male was assaulted by a group of unknown individuals.  

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit
