WRPS Continue to Investigate Stabbing in Uptown Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a stabbing that took place in Waterloo.
On July 26, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police responded to reports of an altercation in the area of Waterloo Public Square Station near King Street South.
A 28-year-old male was stabbed and transported to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 13-year-old female was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 16-17 years, with short blonde hair, wearing a black shirt and black pants.
WRPS’ General Investigation Unit is continuing the investigation. At this point, the incident appears to be targeted with no public safety concerns.
