Waterloo Regional Police Respond to Two Vehicle Collision in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to a collision in Waterloo. 

On June 19, 2024, at approximately 12:25 p.m., emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision on Frobisher Drive.

Through the initial investigation, it was determined that the driver of a Toyota and the driver of a Chevrolet were both travelling on Frobisher Drive, when the drivers collided. Both vehicles started on fire as a result of the collision.

The driver of the Toyota was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet reported no physical injuries.

The roads in the area were closed for several hours for the police investigation and have since been reopened.

The driver of the Toyota was charged with Turn Not in Safety.
