Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Three Parties After a Noxious Substance Investigation
Waterloo Regional Police arrested three Kitchener residents for multiple weapon-related charges.
On June 1, 2024, at approximately 11 a.m., police responded to the area of Chandler Drive and Mowatt Boulevard in Kitchener for reports of a victim being sprayed with a noxious substance.
The victim sustained facial injuries but did not need to attend the hospital.
As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old male, a 24-year-old male, and a 43-year-old female have been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and additional charges.
All arrested parties were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
