WRPS' Neighbourhood Police Respond to an In-Progress Robbery and Arrest Kitchener Male
Waterloo Regional Police have made an arrest of a Kitchener Male after responding to an in-progress robbery in Waterloo.
On July 8, 2025, at approximately 10:40 a.m., police received reports of an in-progress robbery at a business in the area of University Avenue West and King Street North.
An unknown male entered into the store and attempted to steal merchandise. When approached by staff, a physical altercation took place.
Members of North Neighbourhood Police quickly attended the store and arrested the male.
There were no physical injuries reported.
A 32-year-old male was charged with robbery and held for a bail hearing.
