Waterloo Regional Police Arrest a Waterloo Male After a Stabbing Incident in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing an investigation regarding a stabbing incident in Waterloo.
On October 2, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to the area Amos Avenue and Churchill Crescent for reports of a disturbance.
Upon police arrival, a 32-year-old male was found with stab wounds. The male was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A 24-year-old male was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and a weapons related charge.
The accused and victim are known to each other and police have no public safety concerns.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
