Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Three Youths After an Armed Robbery in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two youths after an armed robbery in Kitchener.
On September 22, 2024, at approximately 4 p.m., police responded to a robbery at a retail location near Ottawa Street South and Fischer Hallman Road.
Three suspects entered the location and stole merchandise. During the robbery a firearm was discharged. However, there are no reports of any physical injuries.
Waterloo Regional Police quickly identified the suspect's vehicle and coordinated with the Ontario Provincial Police. The vehicle was located a short time in Peel Region.
Three male suspects aged 14, 14, and 15, all from the Greater Toronto Area, were arrested and held for a bail hearing.
Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Robbery Team is continuing the investigation.
