Police Investigating after Injured Male Located in Kitchener
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a third male in connection to a Kitchener shooting investigation.
On April 30, 2024, at approximately 12:40 p.m., police responded to reports of an injured male in the area of Mill Park Drive and Green Valley Drive.
Upon arrival, police located a 35-year-old male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
On June 13, 2024, investigators arrested a third male in connection to this incident. A 40-year-old Kitchener male has been charged with accessory after the fact - attempted murder.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a second male wanted in connection to an ongoing shooting investigation.
On April 30, 2024, at approximately 12:40 p.m., police responded to reports of an injured male in the area of Mill Park Drive and Green Valley Drive.
Upon arrival, police located a 35-year-old male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
On June 1, 2024, Waterloo Regional Police attended the area of Victoria Street North and Frederick Street in Kitchener, where they located and arrested Justin Orr on a Canada-wide warrant.
Mr. Orr is charged with Attempted Murder, Fail to Comply with Judicial Release, and Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order in relation to a shooting investigation from April 30, 2024. Mr. Orr was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
There are no outstanding parties in relation to this investigation.

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested one male and issued a Canada-wide warrant for a second male wanted in connection to an ongoing shooting investigation.
On April 30, 2024, at approximately 12:40 p.m., police responded to reports of an injured male in the area of Mill Park Drive and Green Valley Drive.
Upon arrival, police located a 35-year-old male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, on May 28, 2024, members of WRPS’ General Investigations Unit, with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), completed a search warrant at a residence in Kitchener and arrested one individual.
A 39-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with Accessory After the Fact and held in police custody for a bail hearing.
Investigators from WRPS’ Major Crime Unit and General Investigations Unit have identified a second individual wanted in connection to this shooting investigation.
Justin Orr, 36, from Kitchener, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for Attempted Murder, Fail to Comply with Judicial Release, and Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order.
Mr. Orr was last seen on May 22, 2024, in the areas of Cedar Street North and Fergus Avenue in Kitchener.
Mr. Orr is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, please do not approach him but call 9-1-1 immediately.
