Police Investigating Hate-Motivated Assault in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hate-motivated assault in Waterloo.
On October 27, 2024, at approximately 11 p.m., a male victim on foot in the area of King Street South and Union Street was approached by a male suspect who yelled racial slurs at him and pushed him several times.
The suspect then fled the area on foot.
No physical injuries were sustained in this incident.
The suspect is described as a White male, 6’2”, 20-30 years old, wearing a black face covering and grey hoodie.
The investigation remains ongoing.
