WRPS Arrest Male and Seize Drugs & Stolen Bike in Kitchener

Officers on proactive patrol in Kitchener arrest a male on warrants and seize drugs after person stop in Kitchener.

On October 30, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., members of WRPS’ Neighbourhood Police Central Division conducted a person stop with a male in the area of Hanson Avenue and Homer Watson Boulevard.

Through investigation, it was determined that the male was wanted on outstanding warrants and was arrested. Suspected pregabalin, clonazepam, hydromorphone, methamphetamine and fentanyl were located and seized. The male was also in possession of a stolen bicycle, which was also seized.

As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Kitchener male was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Breach of probation
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
