Hate motivated incident

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hate-motivated graffiti incident in Kitchener.

On November 14, 2024, police received a report of graffiti on a sidewalk along the Iron Horse Trail between Stirling Avenue South and Kent Ave.

The graffiti included hate-motivated writing. 

The investigation is ongoing.
