WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating Motorcycle Collision in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is investigating a motorcycle collision in Kitchener. 

 

On August 1, 2025, at approximately 12 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a Jeep at the intersection of Lancaster Street West and Union Street.

 

The northbound motorcycle was turning left onto Union Street and was struck by the Jeep travelling south on Lancaster.

 

The driver of the motorcycle, a 64-year-old male, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

 

The driver of the Jeep, a 58-year-old male, did not sustain any physical injuries.

 

The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since reopened.

 

The investigation is ongoing.
