Impact Statement

The Waterloo Regional Police Chorus relies on strong leadership and professionalism to ensure its performances reflect the values, discipline, and pride of the Waterloo Regional Police Service.

For over 50 years, the Chorus has represented WRPS at community events, ceremonies, memorials, and public engagements locally, nationally, and internationally. These appearances require not only musical excellence, but also a high standard of decorum, presentation, and coordination.

The Chorus Sergeant Major is a non-singing volunteer leadership role that plays a critical part in maintaining protocol, uniform standards, ceremonial readiness, and orderly operations during rehearsals and performances. By guiding stage movement, drill, and professional conduct, the Sergeant Major supports the Chorus in presenting itself as a cohesive, confident, and respectful ensemble.
