Waterloo Regional Police’s Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team is investigating a residential break-and-enter in the Township of Woolwich.

On October 11, 2024, around 4:45 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a residence on Chilligo Road. Once inside, the suspect stole property.

The residents were asleep inside the home at the time of the break-in.

Waterloo Regional Police are reminding residents of the following tips to help prevent break-ins:

• Keep doors and windows locked, even when home
• Keep valuables out of common areas and out of plain sight
• Secure residences with home video surveillance cameras in the front and back of the residence
